Counseling Office

Hello and welcome. I have had the privilege of working for the Two Rivers Public School District since 1995.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in December of 1994.  I received my Master's degree in Counseling from Lakeland College in 2007.  I am currently a School Counselor at Two Rivers High School.  I love working with students and enjoy the "AH-HA" moment when a student has been working hard on a task and they finally get it.

Outside of Two Rivers, I am married to a amazing woman that puts up with all of my quirks - especially my love for science fiction and history.  Some of my favorite television shows are Doctor Who, 100, Flash and American Pickers.  Angie and I have been married since 1995 and have 3 awesome kids.  As a family, we love to go to movies, geocaching, and hiking.

I am the school counselor for all Juniors and Seniors.  I have been with Two Rivers High school since 1996.  Until the fall of 2023, I taught Financial Literacy, Introduction to Psychology, Sociology, Developmental Psychology and Today's Topics.  In 2003, I transitioned into the role of a school counselor and I love my new position.  I enjoy working with students on both social-emotional goals and academic and career goals

Interesting fact about me:  I have traveled to France, Greece, England, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Poland, Austria, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, Hungry, The Czech Republic, The Netherlands, and Costa Rica.
